Our casinos are the heart of our business, providing round-the-clock entertainment in a fun, safe environment to thousands of visitors each day. Across six casinos, we operate approximately 4,500 gaming machines and 660 tables requiring a diverse, talented team who're committed to providing great experiences for our guests.

We operate three hotels across Australasia; the 5 star SKYCITY Grand Hotel and 4 star SKYCITY Hotel in Auckland, and the 5 star SKYCITY Darwin Hotel & Resort. We have a third hotel under construction in Auckland and, in Adelaide, we have approval to develop South Australia's only 6 star hotel along the banks of the River Torrens.

Whether it's pointing out landmarks from the observation deck, assisting visitors at the elevators, serving at the gift shop or giving directions to other parts of our property, our Hosts play a big part in the Sky Tower experience!

We employ over 600 chefs and kitchen stewards across over 30 specialist kitchens, from production, pastry, butchery and large scale events, to award-winning a la carte, buffet and casual restaurants serving a wide range of ethnic cuisine. It makes us one of Australasia's largest, most diverse employers of culinary professionals.

Supporting the smooth running of our kitchens are our dedicated team of Stewards who look after duties such as stacking dishwashers and general cleaning. These roles can be a great first taste of what it's like to work in a kitchen and the perfect first step for a budding chef.

We have a large team of people working behind the scenes in Property Solutions to ensure the smooth running of our five properties. From Cleaners, Grounds Attendants, HVAC Engineers and Riggers, to Electricians, Plumbers, Painters and Carpenters, there are lots of career opportunities for talented trades people or those with cleaning or grounds keeping experience.

In our busy Logistics, Supply Chain & Warehousing teams, we employ Warehouse Attendants, Customer Service people and Team Leaders who manage inwards and outwards goods at our loading docks and storage and pick-and-pack services at our warehouse. We're often looking for people with experience in these areas, particular at the entry-level, along with a full drivers licence and, in some cases, a forklift licence.

We operate a number of car parking facilities across Australasia, and SKYCITY Auckland's is the largest parking building in Auckland city (it'll be nearly twice as big again when the New Zealand International Convention Centre opens). In our Parking Services teams, we have Parking Attendants, Technicians and Supervisors who ensure this vital part of our business is fully operational so guests have an effortless experience when they come to enjoy our casinos, restaurants or hotels.

We operate 50 restaurants and bars and three function and convention centres that serve tens of thousands of people every year. Due to open in mid-2019 is the New Zealand International Convention Centre in Auckland, which will be the country's largest convention centre attracting events and expos unlike any New Zealand has seen before.

Being such a big operation means we can truly provide progression for those who want to make hospitality their career. We have so many success stories from employees who started out as Waiters or Bartenders and now manage significant parts of our business.

While a number of our roles require people with proven experience, there are some entry-level opportunities including Bussers and Food & Beverage Attendants for those who have no experience but a strong customer focus and a willingness to learn and take direction. Working around the clock to ensure the safety of our customers, employees and property are our dedicated Security Officers, Observant, approachable and customer-focused, our Security team are always around to answer questions, give directions and offer assistance.

Working closely with our Security team are our Surveillance Operators. Naturally inquisitive, with great observation and lateral thinking skills, our Surveillance team aren't just the "watch dogs" they're as responsible as the rest of our team for making sure our guests have a great time while they're visiting our business. The Surveillance team manage all radio communications across our properties on a daily basis and also during major events, alerting relevant employees to any issues or risks, and undertake monitoring and analysis of all areas of SKYCITY.
